More than 700 killed, 7,000 injured by violence in six months: Sudanese Interior Ministry

According to statistics issued by the Ministry of Interior Affairs, 709 people were killed and 7,714 injured in violent conflicts during the past six months in Sudan. Speaking to Radio Dabanga, lawyer Adel Abdelghani attributed the violence to the quickly deteriorating economic conditions and the conflicts in various regions of the country, in addition to the increased migration to the cities.
