More barrel bombs dropped on Darfur’s Jebel Marra
The Sudanese Air Force has bombed the area of Fanga in East Jebel Marra for the second day in a row.
On Monday morning, an Antonov dropped four barrel bombs near the village of Fanga, a villager told Radio Dabanga.
No fatalities were reported. The explosions ignited some fires on farmlands and pastures, he said. Most of the people who sought refuge in the nearby valleys and hills from bombardments on Sunday are still too scared to return.
The source said that the Antonov is covering a convoy of government forces travelling from El Fasher, capital of North Darfur, to Kanzam in East Jebel Marra.
