Misseriya leader calls for Al Bashir to sack South Kordofan governor
The leader of the Misseriya has called on President Al Bashir to use the emergency law to dismiss the Governor of South Kordofan Ahmed Haroun and assign a new administration involving citizens of the state. He said the issues of the state would not be solved through security measures, but rather politically, and expressed his concern about the conversion of the current conflict into an ethnic one. The leader considered Ahmed Haroun a part of the crisis in the state, rather than the solution and asked for Al Bashir to intervene and sack him through extraordinary measures as the president did in Blue Nile state.
