Misseriya chief from West Darfur dies in Khartoum
KHARTOUM (9 Mar.) – A tribal chief of the Misseriya, Abdallah al Zanussi al Habo, died in Khartoum two days ago. He was transferred to Khartoum after being injured in the armed clashes in Khor Ramla. He was leading a mediation team between the Misseriya and Nuwayba.

The commissioner of Niertete, Jalal Abu Basher told Radio Dabanga that the events in the area have now cooled down as the security presence was intensified and the efforts to stabilize the situation were successful.
