Minor raped in North Darfur

A 15-year-old girl was raped by a militiaman on Tuesday afternoon a near Kalaka village, 25 kilometres east of Kutum in North Darfur.

A relative told Radio Dabanga that a militiaman in military uniform confronted the girl in an open area near to the village as she was collecting firewood.

“Villagers found her found her lying on the ground in a poor condition. She was then taken to Kutum hospital for treatment.
