The Sudanese Minister of Mines is to despatch a team to perform further research following ‘positive evidence of gold, building stones and precious stones in East Darfur.
Minister Ahmed El Karuri said a technical team from the General Corporation for Geological Research will be dispatched to do more research and exploration in the state.
El Karuri explained that the intention is to kick-off in a business promotion for metals and minerals found there, for the purpose of attracting investors by mid-October.
