Militiamen rob displaced, graze livestock on farmland in West Darfur
Militiamen reportedly assaulted a number of residents of the Murnei camps for the displaced, West Darfur, in the areas of Wadi Ghazal and Tour. The Coordinator of the Murnei camps told Radio Dabanga that gunmen on camels and horses attacked a number of farmers in Wadi Ghazal and Tour. They beat and lashed them before robbing them of their money, mobile phones, bags, food, and their farm tools. The militiamen then grazed their camels and livestock on the farmlands. The Coordinator added that many farmers have left their farmlands due to repeated assaults by alleged pro-government militias.
