Militiamen attacked in South Darfur
Nine militiamen were killed and 12 others wounded in South Darfur, in an attack by unidentified gunmen on Monday. Abdel Majid Adam, one of the wounded who arrived at the Nyala military hospital, told reporters that an armed group attacked the area of Dalba, Niteaga locality, on Monday morning. “The attackers came in six Land Cruisers from Khor Abeche. We stood up against them and seized three vehicles.” Militiamen Ibeid Adam, Abdel Rahman Hassan, El Fadil Eisa Aseel, Suleiman Mohamed Fadul, Ahmed Adam Narmouk, Abakar Ali, Wad Hassan, were killed.
