Militia troops assault 2 girls at Al Salaam Camp, Darfur

Three soldiers belonging to the Border Guards severely beat two girls using sticks and batons at Al Salaam Camp in El Fasher yesterday. The two girls were transferred to the city hospital in critical condition. Witnesses said the incident happened after the two girls opened a police case yesterday against the soldiers, accusing them of having earlier abused them. The witnesses said that the girls were on their way home when these soldiers came to the came to confront them and assaulted them.
