Market trader abducted in Nyala, South Darfur
The merchant Mudasir Abakar Mohamed Khartoum was reportedly abducted by militiamen in the city of Nyala, capital of South Darfur, on Thursday morning. A relative of the abductee told Radio Dabanga “militiamen in three Land Cruisers intercepted his vehicle near to Al Malaja market in the El Salam district in the north of Nyala”. The relative alleged that the militiamen pulled Khartoum from his vehicle, beat him, bound him, and bundled him into one of their vehicles. He has been taken to an unknown location.
