Man injured in North Darfur road robbery

A civilian was injured and several others were robbed by a group of militiamen on the road between Kukul village and Saraf Umra in North Darfur on Tuesday.

Ahmed Mohammed Adam received gunshot wounds, and was robbed of his mobile phone and a sum of money.

A resident of Saraf Umra told Radio Dabanga that members of the militia then robbed other citizens who happened to be in the same road of money and clothes.

He appealed via Radio Dabanga to the government authorities to protect the citizens from the militias’ repeated attacks on the roads.
