LJM members arrested in West Darfur
On Monday the Sudanese intelligence services arrested two members of the Liberation and Justice Movement (LJM) in Zalingei, West Darfur. Yousef Hussein Hassan and Adam Muhammadein Muhammad, two military leaders of the LJM were arrested along with two citizens who do not belong to the LJM. Field commander of the LJM, Suleiman Haggar said to Radio Dabanga that they do not know the reasons behind the arrest and want Sudan’s intelligence service to release them immediately. ‘If they do not release them within 24 hours, the military leadership will choose the alternative option’, threatened the commander.
