Killings continue in Nyala
Four people were killed in Nyala, South Darfur, in three separate incidents. All of them were shot by pro-government militias, who also stole mobile phones and motorcycles. Residents say they are currently living in panic. They added that they know who the criminals are and demand the government to arrest them and bring them to trial. In a separate incident, the police commissioner of South Darfur, General Taha Jalal, gave an update about UNAMID’s stolen salaries. He said that 450.000 US$ were stolen, in addition to 43 million Sudanese pounds.
