Killing of aid worker in South Darfur confirmed
The death of a Sudanese aid worker on 23 October has been confirmed by the UN and government officials. The director of the Sudanese El Sugia Charity Organisation, a non-governmental group, was killed by unidentified gunmen.Another staff member on board of the NGO vehicle and a police officer were injured, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said.
