Kidnappers kill displaced man in Central Darfur

Two militiamen shot dead a resident of the Northern Camp in Nierteti, Central Darfur, today.
A sheikh of the Northern Camp told Radio Dabanga that two militiamen attempted to kidnap an unknown man near the camp.
“The kidnap had something to do with a dispute concerning cattle. A number of camp residents tried to stop the abduction, but the militiamen opened fire at them,” he said.
“Osman Omar was killed instantly.”
