Militiamen shot a merchant in Kabkabiya market on Wednesday evening. A witness reported the attack by militia members in two Land Cruisers.

The next day, a witness reported the incident to Radio Dabanga. Militia members in two Land Cruisers shot merchant Suleiman Eisa Musa when he drove home on his motorcycle, in the market on Wednesday evening.
He sustained injuries in various parts of his body and was transferred in serious condition to El Fasher hospital.
The attackers managed to steal his bag with books. Musa owns a money transfer agency in Kabkabiya.
