Journalist from Darfur falls ill in Khartoum prison

Jaafar Sabki, a Darfuri writer for Al Sahafa newspaper, has fallen ill in prison. The detainee’s family expressed concern at the deterioration of his health and demanded that he be permitted to see a specialist doctor. The family affirmed that Sabki, who has been detained for nearly four months, has pneumonia. Sabki’s brother demanded that his brother be released or given a fair trial, and be granted access to a doctor.
