JEM denies presence in Chad
The Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) denied the presence of JEM forces or leaders in Chadian territories. Ahmed Hussein, spokesman for the JEM told Radio Dabanga all JEM forces and its leaders headed by Dr. Khalil Ibrahim are actively operating in Darfur. Hussein warned the ruling National Congress and its allied militias not to approach the refugees in Chad.

Hussein warned the ruling National Congress and its allied militias not to approach the refugees in Chad.
Hussein was commenting in response to Sudanese media, pointing out that the Chadian authorities had asked JEM to leave immediately Chad’s territory. He told Radio Dabanga that the Sudanese government should expel Chadian opposition forces from Siyyah area in North Darfur.
