‘Indignation as Sudan’s president releases rapist imam’: victim’s relative
A presidential order to release a convicted rapist has prompted indignation and discontent, especially from the relatives of the victim. A relative told Radio Dabanga that on Thursday, President Omar Al Bashir issued a presidential order to release imam Noor Al Hadi Abbas Noor Al Hadi, who was convicted of raping a female student in 2012.
