Herders stab farmer in Central Darfur
A young farmer was injured by armed herders in Nierteti locality, Central Darfur,on Monday. Mohamed Ismail Ibrahim (17) was seriously injured when he resisted an attempt by two herdsmen to graze their livestock on his farmland in the area of Kebe, north of Nierteti town. “They beat and stabbed him several times,” a farmer reported Radio Dabanga from Kebe. Ibrahim was transferred in critical condition to a hospital in Nyala, capital of South Darfur.
