Demand payment of arrears from the past eight yearsHealth care workers in the state of South Darfur declared a comprehensive strike on Wednesday and joined the staff of the Nyala Teaching Hospital in demanding reimbursement of arrears from the past eight years.The hospital staff in Nyala went on strike on last Saturday to demand compensation from the governor of South Darfur Abdul Hamid Musha Kasha.The strike declared by health professionals across the state is expected to last until next Sunday. Doctors in hospitals have had to suspend work because of the striking support staff of nurses and paramedics.
