Gunmen release Chinese workers seized with company cars, C. Darfur
The gunmen who seized two Land Cruisers belonging to a Chinese company near Zalingei, Central Darfur, reportedly released two of its employees who were occupying the cars. A member of staff of the company, which builds roads and bridges between Zalingei and El-Geneina, told Radio Dabanga that his colleagues were released at about midnight on Thursday. The men, called Jong and Shong, arrived on Friday morning in Zalingei, the employee added. Following the incident, the company decided to terminate its operations in the area and withdrew its employees and machinery to Zalingei and El-Geneina.
