Gunmen plunder lorries en route to Zalingei, Central Darfur
Pro-government militiamen looted a commercial convoy of four lorries which was on its way from Um Dukhun to Zalingei in Central Darfur on Wednesday. A witness told Radio Dabanga that militiamen riding motorcycles, and others on camels and horses attacked the commercial convoy of lorries in the afternoon, carrrying passengers who returned from shopping, between Kibir and Sileili. The men beat and whipped the passengers before robbing them of their money, mobile phones, and other belongings.
