Gunmen in ‘military uniforms’ kill house guest in South Darfur
In Nyala, the capital of South Darfur, a man was reportedly killed inside his home by three gunmen. Speaking to Radio Dabanga, an eyewitness reported that three gunmen wearing military uniforms at about 9pm on 6 November entered the house of Kamal Haju Sharfeldin in Nyala. When his visitor, Ibrahim Adam Suleiman (35), tried to intervene, they shot at him, killing him instantly. The witness said that after they had shot Suleiman, the gunmen left, taking Sharfeldin’s motorcycle with them. The victim lodged a complaint with the police who immediately started an investigation. The perpetrators have not been traced until now.
