Gunmen assault displaced women in North Darfur, kidnap one
Militiamen kidnapped a woman (25) from Rwanda camp for the displaced in Tawila locality on Thursday.
A relative of the victim told Radio Dabanga that gunmen attacked a group of women from the Rwanda camp, while they were collecting firewood, some 6 km west of Tawila town.

A relative of the victim told Radio Dabanga that gunmen attacked a group of women from the Rwanda camp, while they were collecting firewood, some 6 km west of Tawila town.
“They beat them severely with their whips,” he said, “after which they took Aisha Mohamed Hussein (25) with them to an unknown destination.”
He added that they reported the abduction to Unamid, “but they did not take action so far”.
