Gunmen ambush displaced men
Gunmen, alleged members of a pro-government militia, looted the belongings of two displaced persons from Kassab camp near Kutum in North Darfur.
The men were on their way back from a gold mining site in the area of Abdel Shakour on Monday November 26 when they were attacked, Radio Dabanga has learned.
A sheikh from the camp told Radio Dabanga that gunmen on horses reportedly ambushed the two displaced men, Abdullah Ateem Jumaa and Moussa Faki Arko, and looted an amount of 370 Sudanese Pounds, their mobile phones and clothing.
He added that the assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack.
