Gunmen ambush bus; student dies as car collides with lorry in North Darfur
A bus belonging to Adila Travel with more than 50 passengers was ambushed by Militiamen on Thursday in the area of Bebbi, North Darfur. One of the passengers told Radio Dabanga that the bus was its way from Malha Town to El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur. In the area of Bebbi, “government-backed militiamen on camels” fired into the air, forcing the bus driver to stop. The militiamen stripped the passengers of their money, mobile phones, luggage and goods, and fled. A high school student died in a car accident in the locality of Malha in North Darfur on Thursday. A relative of the victim told Radio Dabanga that Eisa Suleiman Zakaria died in a car accident and four others were injured when they collided with a lorry in the area of Ein Basaro, north-east of Malha.
