Goats stolen from West Darfur displaced

On Tuesday, 52 goats belonging to residents of the Murnei camp for the displaced in West Darfur, were stolen. A camp sheikh told Radio Dabanga that on Tuesday morning, five gunmen on horseback assaulted a number of boys while they were grazing the goats west of the camp. “The Janjaweed shot into the air before taking the goats.” The animals were donated by a charity organisation targeting orphans, widows, and the disabled.
