Girl of 7 raped, murdered in Sudan’s North Kordofan

The body of a seven-year-old girl has been retrieved from a toilet well in El Obeid, capital of Sudan’s North Kordofan. Coroners say she was raped before being murdered.

Witnesses from the town told Radio Dabanga that the girl went missing from her home on Monday. The family informed the police of her disappearance, which prompted a search.
