Gang-rape south of Tabit, North Darfur
Militiamen gang-raped a 20-year-old nursing mother and a 17-year-old woman in Wadi Marra, 10 kilometres south of Tabit, in Tawila locality.
A relative of the victims told Radio Dabanga that seven militiamen riding on camels ambushed the women as they were on their way to fetch water from a well this (Monday) morning.
“They seized them at gunpoint and raped them alternately for four continuous hours.
“Passers-by found them. It was difficult to transport the 17-years-old woman home as she was hysterical,” she added.
