A number of callers told Radio Dabanga that since Wednesday, the fuel stations in Sennar city have no more petrol. The result was that the price more than doubled on the black market.
They repot overcrowding of people at traffic stations and waiting for long hours to go to their homes in the city, villages and remote localities.
El Obeid in North Kordofan has seen a severe fuel crisis since Wednesday.
One vehicle owner told Dabanga Radio that “I went to more than ten pumps in the city looking for fuel to no avail on Thursday ".
He explained that the fuel crisis has lasted for more than a month and worsened on Wednesday and Thursday.
He said there have been long lines of vehicles in front of fuel stations and that the black market price has gone through the roof.
