Four raped in Darfur’s Jebel Marra
Four women, including one under-aged girl, were sexually abused on Friday afternoon in Darfur’s East Jebel Marra by armed men.
A woman of 18 years old in the village of Tabit was attacked by a soldier inside her house. He violated her at gunpoint. They were discovered by the woman’s two brothers when they returned from the mosque.

The rapist threatened them with his gun and fired into the air, as people gathered around the house and informed the police. The soldier was then brought into custody in Tabit's police office.
In Um Beje, near Sharafa, a girl was raped by an unknown number of gunmen. She has been transferred in a serious condition to the hospital in Shangil Tobaya for treatment.
In Masalit village, two women (aged 22 and 25) were raped by several armed herdsmen. They were working on a farm in the area when the herdsmen ambushed them and violated them at gunpoint.
