Four injured in militia raid on South Darfur camp
Four displaced civilians have been injured in an attack in Dreige camp, Nyala, South Darfur on Saturday when militiamen opened fire on them. A camp resident told Radio Dabanga that armed militiamen appeared on camels, entered the camp and opened fire, injuring all of Arjoun Osman, Dahabia Khater Taher, Hawa Adam Ahmed and Adam Suleiman Khamees. The victims were taken to a hospital for treatment. After the shooting incident, the militants reportedly stole SDG 20,000 ($4,500) in cash, 20 donkeys, 50 blankets, 20 mobile phones, five bags, 75 lambs, and 15 sheep before fleeing.
