Fires kill 3 people and destroy 76 houses

Fires in Ghara and Kadad on Thursday and Friday lead to the death of three people and the destruction of 76 homes. The deputy head of Katilla in South Darfur told Radio Dabanga that the fire broke out on Thursday in Ghara village in Katilla, causing the destruction of 22 houses and death of 3 of its citizens. Besides that 200 sacks of beans and 150 sacks of millet, a donkey, a horse, and a number of sheep were lost. In Khadad 54 home were burned, causing 130 families to live in the open without shelter and food.
