Fire destroys 20 houses in Sudan refugee camp, no casualties
Twenty homes were destroyed along with large sums of money and 150 sacks of grain at the Sudanese refugee camp of Djabal in eastern Chad due to a huge fire that broke out over the weekend. No casualties have been reported. Omda Dawoud Abdul Rasul speaking to Radio Dabanga affirmed the incident, which occurred between Saturday and Sunday, left 120 people without shelter, food or medicine.
