Fire destroys 152 homes in South Darfur village
152 houses were destroyed by a fire that broke out in El Khirwa village, east of Kass in South Darfur, on Monday.
Abakar El Tom, spokesman for the Gimr tribe, told Dabanga that also all the stocks of agricultural crops were lost.
“66 families who could not find refuge with relative are living in the open, without shelter and food,” he said.
