Farmer shot in South Darfur robbery
A farmer from Tawila village in Gireida locality in South Darfur, was shot in a robbery on Thursday.
“A group of gunmen attacked Osman Dei (35) while he was tending his farm near Tawila,” a farmer reported to Radio Dabanga.
“They shot him when he refused to hand them his money and mobile phone. We found him bleeding heavily and stripped of all his belongings.”
Dei was transferred in critical condition to a hospital in Nyala, capital of South Darfur.
