Eastern Sudanese ‘rebels’ held by Military Intelligence
Military Intelligence agents detained a number of residents of El Wehda district in Sinja, capital of Sennar, on Saturday.
“Two members of the Military Intelligence stormed the house of Allajabo Ketker Toula in El Wehda in the afternoon, and took him to the military garrison,” a relative of one of the detainees reported to Radio Dabanga.
“Other people living in El Wehda were held as well. They are all accused of being member of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N),” he explained. “The Military Intelligence prevented me and other relatives from visiting them on Sunday”.
