East Darfur residents have had it with assaulting militiamen
Residents of the area of Dar Es Salaam in Abu Karinka locality, East Darfur, complained about the deterioration of the security situation in the region because of the increasing attacks on them. “Militiamen are intimidating and robbing the people of the area,” a resident of the area of Dar El Salam told Radio Dabanga. The militiamen increasingly assault the unarmed civilians and strip them of their property. The most recent incident concerned the theft of a horse and a horse cart from one of the residents of the area on Tuesday.
