Drinking water crisis in Tabit, North Darfur
The population of Tabit in Tawila locality, North Darfur, is suffering from a severe shortage of drinking water.
Speaking to Dabanga, several residents and newly displaced who sought refuge near Tabit from the recent militia attacks on their villages in the vicinity, reported that the engines of two wells have broken down.

Speaking to Dabanga, several residents and newly displaced who sought refuge near Tabit from the recent militia attacks on their villages in the vicinity, reported that the engines of two wells have broken down.
“The people have to make do with only one well left, which is working at half of its power” they said, urging the North Darfur state government to “immediately intervene, and solve the water problem in Tabit”.
