Document on peaceful coexistence signed in N Darfur
The regional government of North Darfur and the Chadian province of Kobe signed a document intended for ‘peaceful coexistence’ between neighboring tribes, in Tina region in North Darfur and Kobe province in Chad, Radio Dabanga was informed on Tuesday October 23. The document supports the flow of commercial goods and other mutual benefits between the two regions. Mansour Dosa, sultan of Tina area, asserted their commitment to work on strengthening the social relationships between the two regions. In addition, he expressed their willingness to achieve peaceful coexistence between the different tribes in the regions. The Chadian representative, General Abdullah, confirmed his commitment to all rules and regulations that preserve security and stability in both countries. He added that the border will not be a stumbling block in prolonging the bi-lateral relationships.
