Doctors of Nyala Hospital have resumed their work, on Wednesday.

Doctors of Nyala Hospital have resumed their work, on Wednesday. Their strike lasted more than 3 weeks, and one of the doctors told Radio Dabanga, that health authorities agreed to improve the working environment of the hospital. She added, that cleaning of the hospital and sewage suction had, already, started.

Early this month, doctors started their strike, because hospital management and the Ministry of Health did not respond to their demands. These included a failure to provide life-saving medicines, medical equipment, and necessary working tools, such as medical gauzes and thread.
