Doctors on strike in Sudan’s second city

The strikers demand provision of security and protection for the doctors, and an improved work environment.
In a statement, the Health Ministry of Khartoum state says that it has filed a complaint of attacks against doctors at Omdurman hospital, in Sudan’s second city, where doctors were severely beaten during a robbery.
The Ministry acknowledged that several devices worth SDG500,000 ($82,000) were stolen or destroyed.
