The doctors in South Darfur’s Nyala Hospital resumed partial duties owing to the conditions of the patients, they said on Sunday. The doctors had gone on a complete strike on Thursday after the government hadn’t fulfilled their demands for better working conditions. They had been demanding better facilities from the government authorities since nearly eight months.
One of the doctors at the hospital told Radio Dabanga that the administration had still not complied with the demands of the doctors. He also confirmed that the doctors wouldn’t lift the partial ban until their demands are met.
