Doctors face dismissal due to strike

The commission of Sudanese doctors rejected a government decision to sack doctors who participated in a week long strike. They urged the government to deal with the demands of the doctors with wisdom and objectivity rather than increasing the problem. Earlier the Ministry of Health gave the doctors until this evening to lift the strike or face beging sacked. Ahmed al Auwabi, head of the doctors commission urged the government to respond to the demands by improving the work environment and increasing salaries.
