Displaced policeman shot dead in North Darfur

Members of a militia shot dead a policeman of the court in Kabkabiya near a camp for displaced people in North Darfur on Wednesday night.

Three pro-government militiamen, driving motorcycles, opened fire on the displaced Ahmed Adam Khater at 9 pm. Khater, working as a member of the court police, was on his way from the mosque to his home in El Salam camp.

A woman activist told Radio Dabanaga that the policeman was instantly killed.
