Displaced man sets himself on fire, W. Darfur
A displaced man from Asarny camp in Kereinek locality, West Darfur, set himself on fire on Sunday in protest against the killings, rapes, looting and plundering and other atrocities carried out by pro-government militiamen against the displaced.A relative of the deceased told Radio Dabanga that Hammad Ibrahim Adam told his family “the earth would be more merciful to him than to watch his brothers and sisters suffer every day from the abuse by pro-government militants; plundering, raping, killing and so on”.According to the relative he added: “everybody is watching and nobody is doing anything.”File photo
