Displaced girl gang-raped in Central Darfur
Militiamen gang raped a girl (15) from the Deleig camp in Wadi Salih locality, on Thursday.
A Deleig camp sheikh informed Radio Dabanga that yesterday, at about 1 pm, militiamen ambushed three girls at Wadi Debelji, located 8 km northwest of Deleig town.
“They were busy collecting firewood, when they were attacked. Two managed to flee. The gunmen raped the third girl for a period of four hours.”

“They were busy collecting firewood, when they were attacked. Two managed to flee. The gunmen raped the third girl for a period of four hours.”
The sheikh said that the girl was found unconscious. “She was taken back to the camp.”
He urged the authorities to put an end to the attacks, and protect the displaced.
