Security authorities in Garsila Locality of West Darfur released for people after a week in prison. A witnesses told Radio Dabanga that those who were released are butchers at Ardiba Camp. They were accused by pastoralists of having slaughtered a cow without permission.

They were accused by pastoralists of having slaughtered a cow without permission. Sources said that internally displaced persons often suffer from such events, noting that arrests and fines can be imposed on them if they are suspected in the death of any livestock near any of their homes or farms. The four detainees were: Hassan Abakr, Mohamed Khamees, Abakr Ganbala, and a fourth whose name is unknown.
