Demonstrations against insecurity and ‘regime’ in Central Darfur
Three unidentified gunmen reportedly seriously injured two residents of the Jeddah camp for the displaced in Garsila, Central Darfur, on Thursday night. One of the camp sheikhs reported to Radio Dabanga that three gunmen went to the house of Yasir Mohamed Suleiman at the Jeddah camp at about 11pm.They called him by his nam and when he appeared at the door they shot him in the legs. While fleeing they also fired on Mubarak Abdelmawla Sharafeldin. Two of the perpetrators were captured and the third managed to escape, it was reported.
